If you have forgotten or lost your PIN, please call 1-866-985-2273 to set up a new one.
I’m making a purchase greater than $2,500; how do I increase my Debit Card limit?
To increase your $2,500 daily spending limit for a personal account or $4,000 daily spending limit for a business account, please visit a branch or call us at 215-725-4430 or 212-473-7310.
How do I order a new SRFFCU Visa Debit Card?
Visit a Member Service Representative at a branch in Maryland, New Jersey, New York, or Pennsylvania to order a new card, or call us at 215-725-4430 or 212-473-7310.
How do I activate my SRFFCU Visa Debit Card?
Call 1-866-985-2273 to activate your new debit card and select a PIN. Please make sure you have your debit card in front of you and the last 4 digits of the primary member’s SSN.
Can teens open a SRFFCU debit card?
Teen members, as young as 14, are now eligible for an SRFFCU Debit Card. With an SRFFCU checking account and debit card, our younger members will now have more opportunities to learn how to manage their finances with a parent/guardian. All other rules regarding minor accounts apply per the SRFFCU Membership Agreement.
I am a legacy SRNYFCU member. What happened to my ATM card?
ATM-only cards will no longer function after June 30, 2026 at 4:30 PM (EST). Legacy SRNYFCU active ATM card holders will receive Debit Cards, which provide ATM access along with additional purchase features. If you would like a SRFFCU debit card for your checking account, please call 212-473-7310 or visit your local branch and we will be glad to assist you.
Your Debit Card will be available for purchases and ATM transactions beginning July 1, 2026 at 6:00 PM (EST). Additional instructions and details have been included with your Debit Card mailing.
Who is eligible for a SRFFCU debit card?
A SRFFCU debit card is available to members who already have a checking account with the credit union, providing a convenient way to make everyday transactions.
Teen members, starting at age 14, are also eligible to receive a SRFFCU debit card. With both a checking account and debit card, younger members gain valuable opportunities to learn and practice responsible money management alongside a parent or guardian.
All minor accounts and debit card usage are subject to the terms and conditions outlined in the SRFFCU Membership Agreement.
I am traveling soon. What should I do with my card?
If you are planning to travel abroad, please notify Self Reliance Financial Federal Credit Union of your travel plans, so that the secure fraud alert system does not interfere with your Debit Card ATM card availability.
