All SRFFCU locations will be closed on July 4 in observance of Independence Day.

Loan Payoff

Paying off a loan is a big step, and SRFFCU makes it easier to get the information you need to move forward. Members can use the loan payoff process to request a payoff amount for eligible loans and take the next step toward closing out their balance.

Request Your Payoff Amount

A payoff amount gives you the full figure needed to satisfy your loan by a specific date. This amount may differ from your current balance because it can include accrued interest, fees, or other loan-related charges through the payoff date. Requesting the correct payoff amount helps prevent delays and makes the process more straightforward.

Loans Eligible for Payoff Requests

SRFFCU accepts payoff requests for a range of loan types, including:

  • Mortgages
  • Auto loans
  • Personal loans
  • Home equity loans or lines of credit
  • Commercial loans

What to Expect

Members can submit a payoff request online and provide the information needed to identify the loan and process the request. Once the request is received, SRFFCU can prepare the payoff amount and help guide the next steps if any additional information is needed.

Frequently asked questions

What happens when you pay off your mortgage?

Once your mortgage is paid off, you will receive a Satisfaction Piece. This document shows that your loan has been paid in full and that SRFFCU no longer has a lien on your house. You are responsible for the fee to record the Satisfaction Piece.

After you have successfully paid off your loan with the mortgage satisfaction recording fee, we will notify the County Recorder of Deeds office to record the lien release on the property. Once we receive this document, you can pick it up from our Feasterville Regional Office, or we will mail it to the address on our records. It typically takes about 30 to 60 days to receive this document.
